HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Elmer and Irene Kludt started their careers in the petroleum industry in the late 1950’s operating a Richfield service station in Lodi, CA. In 1962 they acquired the Signal Oil distributorship and began delivering fuel to approximately two hundred farming customers.
Today, Kludt Oil has grown considerably from the early years, but the corporate vision remains unchanged: provide excellent customer service, a wide range of petroleum products at a competitive price and a great place for employees to work. The company is still family owned and operated by the next generations, Elmer and Irene’s sons and grandsons.
